Meet Dr. Ripp Cristel

Ripp Cristel, DDS - Dentist in Federal Way, WA - Cristel Family DentistryDr. Ripp Cristel is a native of Western Washington, born and raised in Pierce County. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Washington graduating Magna Cum Laude. He was fortunate enough to be able to attend the University of Washington School of Dentistry and remain close to his family. Dr. Cristel excelled clinically and academically graduating at the top of his class. He also received the William S. Kramer Award for his volunteer work with the Union Gospel Mission and the Washington Oral Health Foundation.

Dr. Cristel’s passion for dentistry is born out of his own experience as a patient. Growing up in a large family with limited income his first dental visits were not until he was in high school. He had extensive restorative work done and grew to appreciate the value of good dental care. Drawing from his own experiences he strives to make every patient comfortable while providing the highest quality care.

Dr. Ripp Cristel, DDS and His Family on a Fishing TripDr. Cristel has been married to his wife Deanna for the past 13 years. They have 2 elementary school aged boys. Deanna has worked as a social worker for the past 12 years at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma.  In their free time as a family they enjoy camping, hiking and spending time outdoors. Dr. Cristel is an avid fisherman and can be found chasing salmon in the Puget Sound or halibut in the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

Dr. Cristel is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, the South King County Dental Society and the OKU Dental Honor Society.
